Rift Live Datamining – April 27 Staged Data
The past 3 months have had fairly small patches, usually just fixing a bug or adding a mount that appears in the store immediately. The patch for April 27th is different, as in addition to a new mount, we are also getting a brand new armor set. The staged version is “STABLE-1-1142-a-1256293”, going live on April 28th.

2 New mounts, both Kitsune. “Soul Kitsune” in blue, and “Demon Kitsune” in red/magenta.
New Armor Set
This new armor set is labeled as “Crimson Dominion Set” in the database, but may be “Garb of the Nightstalker” for the full set. This is the first time we have seen Gamigo add a new armor set to the game since patches started again back in the summer of 2025.
This set is given the lore of “A garment shaped by the Shadow Planes, worn by those who walk between Telara’s worlds and the Astral Realm.” A Shadow Plane, or an Astral Realm are not really places that have been a part of Rift’s lore or story. It’s not clear if that is a bad translation from German to English and intended to be the “Death Plane” and “River of Souls” or something similar to those. It could also just be made up lore that has nothing to do with the establish cosmology for Rift, which would be unfortunate and doesn’t feel that great.
