Rift Live Datamining – August 1st Staged Data

It appears that yet another patch has been staged for Rift this morning. This is coming 2 weeks faster than the July 22nd patch, so an improvement in patch timings. This one brings more cosmetics, mounts, and seasonal/repeatable content as we would expect. Rift is in desperate need of new non-seasonal content, but that takes a lot longer to develop. I know the community would like to see that or at least know if something is in development. Granted, last time that happened Gamigo laid off all the staff working on the game.

Let’s dive into this staged patch. This is version STABLE-1-1100-a-1255867 – we will watch to see if this is the same version that goes live next week.

Finalized Dates for Autumn Harvest & Fae Yule 2025

While there is an official post on the Gamigo run Rift discord with the dates for upcoming seasonal events, the post also has a disclaimer that the dates are subject to change. Well, with this datamining it’s clear they are scheduled for the dates provided.

Autumn Harvest 2025 – October 8th – October 28th
Fae Yule 2025 – December 10th – December 30th

Battle Pass 2 return and a possible season 7?

While it is not completely clear what is going on, Battle Pass season 2 and season 7 have updated credit awards listed in the client side data. This specifically calls out Battle Pass season 2 for 2025, indicating a re-run and update. We never got Battle Pass season 7, which was detailed in a June 18, 2020 patch we datamined and called “Dawn of Madness”, which was to be Nightmare themed (after Nightmare Rifts). It isn’t clear yet if this will go live.

Regardless, it may be safe to assume that Battle Pass Season 2 “Tendrils of Blight” may have a re-run. As detailed over on Cadrift, this last ran from August 2019 to January 2020.
